My friend Paul made me a CD for my Birthday and I have been listening to it all week. One of my all time favorite songs that I had forgotten about is on there and I have been appreciating it all over again. It has been stuck in my head all weekend, and now it can be stuck in yours.

I know I have mentioned how I am always on the hunt for songs to go on the work ipod. A lot of times I will find things that I put on there and then have to remove because the vibe is not right for the store. This particular band didn't work for the store because of the banjo but that doesn't mean it isn't good for my personal collection. Anyways I found this band a while back while on the hunt and I forgot about them until this evening when my friend O'Brien reminded me about them. She is right they are a good band to share.

So this is for my dear friend Gloria. We share music a lot and she was upset the other day that I hadn't referenced her in any of my posts. I said I would be sure to give credit where credit was due when her moment comes....well this is it. Gloria introduced me to the Avett Brothers many moons ago, and seeing as I'm still dreaming on the beach I thought I would share this perfectly appropriate tune.

So I have spent the last week at the beach and I must say I have come back totally rested and refreshed. Was I ready to come home?...Yes. Am I ready to go back?...Yes. However before I left I jammed a lot of stuff on my shuffle that I hadn't really listened to. That way when I was taking naps on the beach I would have new material. I love the harmony and simplicity of this song. It has become one of my absolute favorites.
