I have seen a lot of promotion for the new Cold War Kids album, and I blatantly ignored all of it. Why? Because I flat out don't like any of their previous albums. Not even a little bit. So when I listened to their song Royal Blue, off the new album, I was completely surprised that I enjoyed it. I was so surprised that I even went back to previous albums Robbers and Cowards and Loyalty to Loyalty to double check my feelings towards them...
...Yep still don't like them. Moral of the story: Artists evolve, my taste in music doesn't.
